Have you ever looked at a couple on the street and thought to yourself “How is HE with HER?!” Just a warning, this blog post is going to come across as extremely shallow, but think about this: as much as you may not want to admit it, physical attraction DOES matter in an adult dating relationship. It is one of the first things that attract people to each other. First impressions are usually based on how a person looks, not based on an amazing personality.

Well, there are many “odd couples” in Hollywood that have definitely had negative press related to their own personal relationships. Hey, if the sex is good leave them alone, right? Here are some of my favorite odd couples.

Katy Perry & Russell Brand
At first glance you may be thinking “What’s the beautiful bombshell doing with the creepy hairy sex addict?” Think again, having a sense of humor is a major turn-on for some women.

Soon Yi and Woody Allen

Soon Yi is Woody Allen’s stepdaughter AND wife. Yeah. Wrap that logic around your head. I’m not justifying this one.

John Hutchinson & Courtney Stodden

This 51 year old Lost star just married his 16 year old bride. Yes, the age difference is creepy, and if they acted like a normal couple I would attempt to justify this relationship, but if you watch any interview with these two you will be creeped out of your fucking mind.

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore

Personally, I like this odd couple. Demi is a total babe, and Ashton is the man for being able to bag a hottie. Also, her children with Bruce Willis get along perfectly with Kutcher. Hell, even Willis himself is a Kutcher fan. What a happy little family.

Emmy Rossum & Adam Duritz

Again, many people love to judge this odd couple based on her good looks and his, uh, looks. He isn’t the most attractive man, and his dreads are a little crazy, but maybe dreads are a massive turn-on for her. You never know. Also, I’m sure he’s an amazing guy. He’s definitelytalented musician

Marilyn Manson & Evan Rachel Wood

Yes, Manson is scary looking. But if you listen or watch interviews with him you may notice that he is kind of a genius. Yes, he has abused drugs and still probably does, but most of Hollywood has. I see this odd couple as a little girl who has a crush on a rockstar, and a rockstar who is lovin’ the attention he’s receiving from his woman.

Harvey Weinstein & Georgina Chapman

Honestly, other than physical attractiveness I don’t see anything “odd” about this odd couple.

Madonna & Jesus Luz

Madonna is banging an extremely good looking man 29 years younger than her. He gets along with her children and they make each other happy. Good for you, Madonna.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

No one thought this relationship would last. And then they got married. No one thought the marriage would last. And then they had twins. They seem like they are truly in love. Whats wrong with that?

Sandra Bullock & Jesse James

Before the horrid split, no one understood what she saw in him. She kept defending her love for him in interviews. And then the whole world saw his true colors. Poor Sandy. I guess not ALL odd couples work out for the best.
